Cabo San Lucas Engagement photos

Couple walking and having fun, beautiful mountains are behind them, during their engagement photos in Cabo San Lucas

Solaz Los Cabos Sunset beach portraits for an epic love story

Being a Cabo San Lucas photographer is a dream come true for anyone who enjoys gorgeous natural landscapes and beautiful secluded beaches. I couldn’t have asked for a more photogenic and happy couple. My favorite part about this glamorous beach engagement photoshoot was exactly how happy Sayeh and Amir were together.

Let me tell you when they first contact me for their Persian wedding in Los Cabos I was super excited, after a few emails and a few phone calls (Amir speaks a little bit of Spanish, how awesome) I Knew their wedding would be epic. So we planned this sunset session in one of their trips to Cabo before their wedding CLICK HERE TO SEE THEIR CABO WEDDING DAY

We started with a few pictures around the resort: Solaz Los Cabos. Then we go to take a few pictures in the middle of the desert, with the mountains behind and finally we had an epic sunset at the beach.

Sayeh and Amirs Cabo engagement portraits took place during one of their visits to Cabo to organize their destination wedding at the Luxury Solaz Resort.

Wedding Photographer in Cabo – Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Destination Wedding

Bride and groom looking at each other during their destination wedding ceremony. Ocean is behind and they are surrounded with a lot of family and friends.

Gorgeous Cabo destination wedding at Pueblo Bonito Resort

Sneak peek of the beautiful destination wedding of Chelsea and Jay at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach in Los Cabos. Chelsea and Jay met at a pool party in Las Vegas in 2014. They were engaged in Italy in June 2017 and he popped the question at the overlooking Florence. Perfection!

“We wanted our wedding to be simple and classic. Neither of us are religious, so getting married overlooking the ocean was perfect! The ocean was the main center-piece so we wanted to keep the decorations light. Neither of us are a fan of flowers, so we had candles as the center-pieces with a touch of greens and it was beautiful”!

Thanks Chelsea and Jay for choosing me as your Cabo wedding photographer. Best wishes on this wonderful journey, as you build your new lives together.

Wedding hair tips for Los Cabos Beach Wedding

Los Cabos Beach Weddings

Los Cabos Beach Wedding - Wedding hair tips

I learned really quickly photographing weddings here in Los Cabos Mexico is nearly every evening there is a beautiful breeze that comes off the ocean. This breeze most of the times coming from the Pacific cools down the air and allows you and your guests to enjoy your wedding ceremony. However, if you wear your hair down, it will also blow your hair into your face and ruin your photographs if your hair is not pinned up and/or under control.

This is especially important when you consider how you will stand at your Los Cabos beach wedding ceremony. Nearly all wedding ceremonies here in Los Cabos area have the guests facing you with the sea as the background. The wind nearly always comes from the East. As a result, sometimes, you are standing in the perfect position for the wind to blow your hair into you face for the entire ceremony.

And if you are one of those brides that does not like wearing her hair up because you find your face looks thinner and better when your hair is down, not all is lost. There are a lot of styles you can choose where the hair is back or comes down one side that will still give you the volume you need to obtain that same look. All it means is you have to be creative in choosing a style. And you might want to do a test with your  profesional stylist before coming down, just to make sure you are going to be happy on your wedding day.

If you need some inspiration, please visit my Blog for beach weddings here in Los Cabos, Mexico. Also, you might want to check out a few of my favourite styles in our portfolio section. And one bride that I think really chose the perfect hair for her face, dress and day was Cami of Cami and Justin´s wedding, even after she jumped to the pool her hair was perfect.

Often when I talk about hair, I get asked if it is ok to wear a veil? In my opinion, I love veils and how they flow in the wind. They tend to look great blowing in the wind. However, it is important that you pin your veil into your hair as I have seen a veil fly out of a brides hair and land on a second floor private Villa as she was walking with her bridesmaids.

I hope you have found this little post helpful and you are a little more prepared for your Los Cabos wedding. Please, remember to talk to your bridesmaids about this as well because it’s equally challenging to have their hair blowing in the wind during the photo session.
